Description

High school and university students around the world are invited to submit essays on 1 or more of the 17 Global Goals, to win a scholarship under the Global Goals Scholarship Program 2018. The intent of the scholarship is to promote awareness of Global Goals faced by mankind today. This is a rolling scholarship and is awarded once a year to the best applicant.

Benefits

The scholarship award is US$2500, which is to be used towards school and college fees.

Eligibility

Applicants should be high school students or tertiary (university) students who are aged 14 and above. They have to be presently studying or intending to study in their choice of high school or university.

Entrants have to submit an essay of at least 2500 words, on 1 of more of the 17 Global Goals (see the Official Website for a list of the goals). The essay has to describe how the student has met, or is planning to meet, these 17 goals against the issues being faced by the mankind at a global level.
