BigPicture encourages photographers from around the world to contribute their work to this competition that will both celebrate and illustrate the rich diversity of life on Earth and inspire action to protect and conserve it through the power of imagery. The winning images are exhibited at one of the most prestigious science institutions in the world in San Francisco California, USA.

The BigPicture Photo Competition has 7 categories: Art of Nature |  Aquatic Life | Winged Life | Landscapes, Waterscapes, and Flora | Terrestrial Wildlife | Human/Nature | 2019 Series: Pushing the Limits (5–8 image submission with captions).
